The 2011 season at RML is proving once again that it’s a good thing there are no boundaries on fun because we would be pushing them this year. With six returning staff and two future all star guides in the making, we are showing guests the true versatility of the playground in which we work and you play. Although the Crescent Lake and River are frozen and all the bears are fast asleep in their winter dens, Redoubt Mountain Lodge has been busy preparing for an unforgettable 2011 season. Here’s a preview of some additions for 2011 we hope everyone enjoys:

Insulated fish boxes to transport your catch: To alleviate the the hassle of traveling to Alaska with a cooler, RML will be providing insulated fish packing boxes (no extra cost). With Autumn knocking on our doorstep bringing crisp breezes and falling leaves, we are happy to see the ended Sockeye runs feeding the huge population of Brown Bears getting ready for hibernation. It has been wonderful to see a record number of bears ambling around, filling their bellies full of the spawning Reds. Each day boasts more and more bears coming to feast, the record to date is sixteen different bears seen before lunch.
