Bear & Wildlife Viewing

The parkland surrounding the lodge is home to Alaskan Brown & Black Bears and is regarded as some of the best Bear Viewing in the state. Watch these amazing animals in their natural habitat, feasting on spawning salmon & tending to their cubs. Eagles, swans, beavers & a large variety of other wildlife are also available for viewing.

Hiking

Redoubt Mountain Lodge offers both moderate & difficult hikes. Choose from the Waterfall Hike or Pyramid Mtn. Hike. The Waterfall Trail leads guests on a moderate hike up to a 60ft cascading waterfall. Pyramid Mtn. Hike is a half-day adventure not for the faint of heart. Conquer this rugged 3300ft-mountain peak & enjoy the limitless views of the North Aleutian Range (including Mt. Iliamna).

Kayak Touring

Enjoy kayaking around 8-mile long Crescent Lake.

Water-skiing

RML is proud to offer glacier lake water-skiing! A big hit in 2007, we look forward to expanding our selection of water sports to include wakeboarding & tubing in 2008.
